Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accountant, Payroll to manage the timely processing of payroll and related records. The role includes filing tax reports, handling voluntary and involuntary deductions, and supporting Accounts Payable and compliance tasks.

The position requires 2-3 years of payroll processing experience, proficiency with Ceridian/Dayforce, and a strong foundation in tax compliance and reconciliations. This is a fully remote role across multiple states in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field.
• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Familiar with garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll using Ceridian/Dayforce for exempt and non-exempt employees bi-weekly.
• Ensure hours are submitted and approved; resolve discrepancies with managers.
• Update 401k deferrals, employer match, and loans; verify 401k data for submissions.
• Set up garnishments and tax levies; complete required paperwork.
• Maintain payroll procedures and assist with audits and AP support as needed.
