Job summary

Biocide Systems is seeking a reliable Part-Time Payroll Assistant to support payroll processing, employee records, timesheets and queries. This remote role offers flexible hours (about 20–25 hours weekly) with a monthly salary of $1,500. You will maintain confidentiality and accuracy while liaising with HR and management.

The ideal candidate has payroll or HR administration exposure, strong Excel skills, and experience with payroll software such as Sage, Xero or BrightPay.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll, finance or HR administration.
• High accuracy with numerical data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Process timesheets, overtime, holidays and sickness.
• Calculate wages, deductions, NI, pension contributions.
• Respond to payroll queries professionally.
• Coordinate with HR/management on payroll information.
• Ensure data is accurate and deadlines are met.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Assist with payroll reports and audits.
• Keep up to date with payroll procedures and legislation.
