Job summary

Biocide Systems is seeking a reliable Part-Time Payroll Assistant to support monthly payroll processing, employee records, and timesheet management. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organisational skills in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll, finance administration, HR administration, or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling numerical information.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, salary changes, and personal details.
• Process timesheets, overtime, holiday records, sickness information, and payroll adjustments.
• Support the calculation of wages, deductions, tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
• Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and promptly.
• Liaise with HR and management teams regarding payroll information.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate and processed within required deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee financial and personal information.
• Assist with payroll reports, audits, and administrative tasks.
• Keep up to date with payroll procedures and relevant employment legislation.
