Biocide Systems is seeking a reliable Part-Time Payroll Assistant to support monthly payroll processing, employee records, timesheet management, and related administration. The role offers flexible hours and remote work, ideal for someone with strong finance or HR admin interest.

The candidate will handle confidential information, maintain accuracy, and respond to payroll queries while collaborating with HR and management to meet deadlines. Prior payroll software experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll, finance or HR admin role.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly payroll processing.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, salary changes, and personal details.
• Process timesheets, overtime, holidays, sickness, and payroll adjustments.
• Support calculation of wages, deductions, tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
• Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and promptly.
• Liaise with HR and management on payroll information.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate and processed within deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Assist with payroll reports, audits, and admin tasks.
• Keep up to date with payroll procedures and employment legislation.
