Job summary

Inserso Corporation seeks a Network Support Technician to provide Tier 2 IT support for DHS customers worldwide. The role includes onsite and remote assistance, LAN administration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and backup systems.

You will work under a lead technician and contribute to a fast-paced, security-focused environment. Responsibilities include configuring network devices, supporting devices across offices and facilities, applying security patches, and maintaining ITSM tickets.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass DHS E-Verify.
1+ years’ IT-related support experience, preferably in helpdesk or customer support.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, or other IT issues.
General knowledge of network products and systems.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices, servers, storage arrays, and tape backup units.
Support network-attached devices including computers, printers, biometrics, and medical equipment.
Assist in testing and maintaining server configurations and security patches.
Monitor ITSM (ServiceNow) assignments and update tickets per guidelines.
Provide daily/weekly/monthly activity reports to stakeholders.
Assist in deployments and cabling in data centers and wiring closets.
