Job summary

Inserso Corporation is seeking a Network Support Technician to deliver onsite and remote Tier II IT support for DHS customers worldwide. You will assist with LAN administration, network devices, servers, printers, and mobile equipment while following established guidelines. The role includes after-hours support rotation and deployment activities.

The position requires 1+ years in IT support, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass DHS E-Verify.
• Associate Degree or equivalent required.
• 1+ years IT-related support experience, preferably in helpdesk or customer support.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, or other IT issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices, servers, storage arrays, and tape backup units.
• Support network attached devices including computers, printers, and biometric equipment.
• Assist in testing and applying server configurations and security patches.
• Monitor ServiceNow assignments and document activity to ensure quality.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports of activities and inventory updates.
