Job summary

Inserso Corporation is seeking Network Support Technicians to provide on-site and remote Tier 2 IT support for DHS customers worldwide. The role covers hardware, software, networks, cloud, and other IT services in a fast-paced environment.

The technician reports to an Area Technical Lead and will support 24x7 LANs, devices, and end-users within a Service Desk environment, often requiring independent work and occasional after-hours rotations.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass DHS E-Verify.
1+ years’ IT-related support experience, preferably in a helpdesk or customer support role.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, or other IT issues.
Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and work in various locations.
Comfortable working in a Law Enforcement environment.

Responsibilities

Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices and servers.
Support network-attached devices, mobile and wireless devices.
Assist in testing, applying and maintaining server configurations and security patches.
Monitor tickets in ITSM and generate reports.
Install and maintain video conferencing infrastructure.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and special projects.
Perform new equipment deployments and cabling in data centers.
