Job summary

Inserso is seeking Network Administrators to provide onsite and remote Tier 2 support to our DHS customers worldwide. The role involves rapid problem resolution across hardware, software, network and cloud services, in a 24x7 service desk environment.

Reporting to a Team Lead, you will manage LAN devices, backups, and monitoring, participate in after-hours rotations, and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders while following established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Five years of IT-related support experience, preferably in progressive roles.
• Three years of enterprise IT support within a large, complex organization.
• At least one year in a lead or supervisory technical role (team of 5+).
• Ability to travel as required (short-notice/local travel).

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices.
• Support networked computers, printers, biometrics, medical devices, and sensors.
• Support mobile and wireless devices including smartphones and hotspots.
• Test and apply security patches and server configurations.
• Monitor backups and perform restore testing.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets and document activities.
• Provide regular activity reports and inventory input.
• Assist in after-hours on-call support and special projects.
• Deploy and support new equipment and cabling in data centers.
• Analyze business requirements and present briefing materials to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with architecture/engineering on system design and integration.
