Job summary

Inserso Corporation in Kansas City, MO, seeks Network Support Technicians to provide onsite and remote Tier 2 IT support for DHS customers worldwide. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and cloud issues, coordinating with the Service Desk and field operations.

You will install and maintain network devices, servers, backups, and video conferencing infra, monitor ITSM tickets, generate reports, and assist with after-hours on-call rotations. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen and able to pass DHS verification.
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years IT support experience (helpdesk/customer support).
• Troubleshoot desktop, network, or IT issues.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Willing to travel up to 20% and pass MVR.
• Experience in a DHS/government environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN admin support for installation, configuration & maintenance of network devices and servers.
• Support network-attached devices, peripherals and video conferencing infrastructure.
• Assist testing and applying server configurations and security patches.
• Maintain system health and backups, including restore testing.
• Monitor ITSM (ServiceNow) tickets and resolve issues.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly activity reports.
• Deploy new equipment and provide deployment support.
• Perform cabling in data centers and wiring closets.
• Collaborate on design specs and briefing materials for customer needs.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations and special projects.
