Job summary

Modivcare is seeking an Onboarding Supervisor to lead a remote onboarding team responsible for ensuring new hires complete all pre-employment activities accurately and in compliance. The role emphasizes people leadership, compliance oversight, and process improvement to enhance the new-hire experience.

Responsibilities include coaching the team, overseeing daily operations, ensuring I-9 and background check compliance, and partnering with Recruiting and HR to streamline processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent).
• 4+ years of onboarding/employee experience or HR function.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing onboarding team.
• Oversee daily onboarding operations and timely completion of pre-employment requirements.
• Ensure compliance with background checks, Form I-9, and employment regulations.
• Monitor onboarding documentation for accuracy and audit readiness.
• Identify and resolve compliance gaps, delays, and escalated issues.
• Partner with Recruiting, HR, and Hiring Managers to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Improve workflows and internal controls to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Monitor team performance and onboarding metrics for improvements.
• Lead cross-functional onboarding initiatives and support other HR operations.
