Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an HR Generalist - Onboarding & Compliance to own the end-to-end onboarding process for new employees and ensure compliance across pre-employment checks and licensing requirements.

The role requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple onboarding initiatives in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a smooth transition from recruitment to training and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HR, onboarding, compliance, credentialing, workforce administration, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of employment documentation and HR compliance requirements.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all newly hired employees.
• Coordinate and manage the onboarding process from offer acceptance through training enrollment.
• Schedule and conduct new hire onboarding sessions.
• Ensure completion of all required employment documentation.
• Maintain ongoing communication with candidates regarding onboarding requirements and deadlines.
• Monitor onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding items.
• Facilitate criminal background checks, driving record reviews, reference checks, and other pre-employment screenings.
• Partner closely with the Training Department to ensure new hires are training-ready.
• Assist HR operations by generating onboarding, hiring, compliance, and training reports.
