Job summary

Remote is seeking a Manager, Onboarding Operations to lead a high-volume, regionally aligned team supporting employee onboarding across multiple countries. You will drive people leadership, delivery quality, compliance and continuous improvement across the onboarding lifecycle.

You will also support AI, automation and operational excellence by identifying workflow improvements and partnering with experts on implementation. Report to Senior Manager, Onboarding Operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated people-management experience in a high-volume operational environment.
• People-first leader who builds trust, empowers others and accountability for team outcomes.
• Experience developing scalable operational processes with high quality and compliance.
• Understanding of employment, labour laws, payroll processes and contracts across countries.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills across teams and clear communication in complex situations.
• Ability to use data to monitor performance, identify risks and drive improvements.
• Experience leading change and adopting new tools or ways of working; collaboration with technical specialists.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor an aligned Onboarding Operations team to high performance.
• Own team performance, delivery quality and achievement against targets and standards.
• Manage all aspects of people leadership, including feedback, reviews and difficult conversations.
• Escalate complex onboarding challenges and coordinate cross-functional ownership.
• Collaborate with global Managers to drive operational change and maintain alignment.
• Use data to track performance, capacity, quality and risk with clear recommendations.
• Identify and implement improvements to onboarding processes and customer experience.
• Serve as subject-matter expert on global onboarding, ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Support reporting, audit, compliance and data-integrity initiatives.
• Lead adoption of approved AI and automation tools within the team.
• Define operational requirements with technical specialists and support adoption.
