Job summary

The ProActive Technology Group is seeking a NOC Engineer to own the health of managed client fleets, focusing on backups that run and can be restored, RMM alerts that get fixed rather than ignored, and patches and vulnerabilities that get closed. This remote, part-time role requires attention to backlog remediation and consistent follow-through.

You will work with Veeam B&R, NinjaOne, and ScreenConnect to triage issues, perform SureBackup tests, enforce 3-2-1 backups, and maintain audit-ready

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an MSP or IT ops role.
• Hands-on with Veeam B&R and SureBackup.
• RMM alert remediation experience (NinjaOne preferred).
• Windows patch troubleshooting and vulnerability remediation.
• Clear writing for tickets and client reports.

Responsibilities

• Triage backups across Veeam servers, agents, and cloud copies.
• Remediate NinjaOne alerts and fix root causes to stop re-alerts.
• Patch management and vulnerability remediation; verify fixes.
• Own Halo tickets from alert to close and produce reports.
