Job summary

Dijital Team Pty is seeking a Remote Operations Engineer (NOC) to support backup monitoring, patch remediation, and routine infrastructure health checks for a leading MSP. The role emphasizes proactive maintenance across multiple client environments.

You will work with Veeam, Azure Backup, Datto RMM, and Windows Server, documenting activities and escalating incidents per established procedures. Strong English communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and Azure Backup for backup monitoring and restores.
Experience with Datto RMM for patch management and endpoint monitoring.
MSP or structured IT operations environment experience.
Strong ticketing, documentation, and change-control procedures.
Excellent written English communication and detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Perform recurring backup health checks across client environments using Veeam, Azure Backup, and Datto.
Review backup histories, investigate warnings, and verify recoverability with test restores.
Monitor repository capacity, recovery points, and offsite storage availability.
Investigate and remediate patching failures and validate patch installation via Datto RMM.
Escalate incidents and maintain detailed, organized ticket records with evidence.
Follow SOPs and checklists to ensure consistent service delivery.
