Job summary

The ProActive Technology Group is seeking a NOC Engineer to manage backups, fix RMM alerts, and remediate patches and vulnerabilities for our managed client fleet. You will triage backup jobs, conduct SureBackup tests, and maintain audit-ready evidence while coordinating with NinjaOne and ScreenConnect to resolve issues promptly.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in MSP/IT ops, strong Veeam B&R know-how, and experience with Windows patching and vulnerability remediation, with a focus on clear

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an MSP or IT operations role.
• Hands-on Veeam B&R with jobs, repositories, backup copy, agents and SureBackup.
• RMM alert remediation experience (NinjaOne preferred).
• Windows patch troubleshooting and logs analysis.
• Vulnerability remediation from scanner findings; verify fixes.
• Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V/VMware, NAS/iSCSI storage.
• Familiarity with object storage targets and quotas; immutability a plus.
• Clear written communication for tickets and client reports.
• Ability to pass a background check for CMMC access.

Responsibilities

• Own backups: triage failures, fix storage, run restores and audit evidence.
• Remediate NinjaOne alerts; fix root causes to prevent re-alerts.
• Address AV/EDR health, low disk space, and service issues.
• Handle patching: Windows cumulative updates and third-party apps.
• Report patch compliance and manage vulnerability backlog weekly.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly client reports.
