Job summary

The ProActive Technology Group is seeking a NOC Engineer to own backups, alert remediation, and patch management for our managed client fleet. You will triage backup jobs across Veeam, fix issues via NinjaOne/ScreenConnect, run restore tests, enforce 3-2-1, and report on compliance.

A background in MSP IT operations and Hands-on patching experience are required, with strong documentation skills. Schedule includes business hours ET with an early-morning check and after-hours rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in an MSP or IT operations role.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Proficient in RMM alert remediation (NinjaOne preferred).
• Experience patching Windows systems and troubleshooting updates.
• Familiarity with Hyper-V/VMware and storage basics.
• Clear writing for tickets and client reports.

Responsibilities

• Triage failing or warning backup jobs across Veeam and cloud copies.
• Fix storage, repository, network, licensing, and upgrades via NinjaOne/ScreenConnect.
• Run restore tests and provide audit-ready evidence.
• Enforce 3-2-1 backup standard and perform half-year audit.
• Maintain VSPC onboarding/offboarding and billing alignment.
• Resolve open NinjaOne alerts and reduce alert noise.
• Address AV/EDR health, disk space, and service issues.
• Remediate patching and vulnerability findings and report weekly.
• Own Halo tickets from alert to close; produce reports.
