Job summary

The ProActive Technology Group is seeking an NOC Engineer to own the health of our managed client fleet, focusing on backups, alert remediation, and patch management. You will triage backup jobs, fix NinjaOne alerts, and drive vulnerability remediation while maintaining audit-ready evidence.

Expect business hours ET with occasional overnight checks and after-hours rotation. Strong writing and credential handling are essential, with experience in Veeam, NinjaOne, and virtualization platforms

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an MSP or IT operations role or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on with Veeam B&R including jobs, repositories, backup copy, agents and SureBackup.
• Day-to-day RMM alert remediation experience (NinjaOne preferred): AV/EDR health, disk space, services, offline devices.
• Windows patch troubleshooting including cumulative updates and logs.
• Vulnerability remediation from scanner findings with verification.

Responsibilities

• Triage and fix backup jobs across Veeam servers, agents, and cloud copies.
• Remediate RMM alerts and reduce re-alerts by addressing root causes.
• Handle patching and vulnerability remediation; report weekly on patch compliance.
• Own tickets from alert to closure with clear client-facing notes.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports; maintain runbooks in Hudu.
