Job summary

CVP seeks Medical Support Assistants to join our team supporting the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System, including the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK.

This is a full-time, remote position that requires residence within 50 miles of the medical center and standard M-F hours. You will coordinate care between VA and community providers, schedule appointments, and ensure Veterans receive timely care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute (typing test required).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills with daily proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care between VA and community providers and schedule appointments.
• Process community care consults via HSRM and PPMS.
• Maintain patient demographics and ensure data accuracy across CPRS and VistA.
• Open/close clinics daily and update no-shows within 24 hours.
