Job summary

CVP is seeking Medical Support Assistants to support Veterans Health Administration scheduling across clinics and programs. You will coordinate care between VA and community providers, schedule appointments, and help ensure timely access for Veterans.

Based in Alabama, you will work remotely within designated counties, perform receptionist duties, use VA systems like CPRS, EHRM and the Electronic Waiting List, and help meet KPIs for appointment accuracy and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of specialized experience in a clinical setting with scheduling.
• Experience with VA scheduling systems or similar healthcare appointment software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong privacy and HIPAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care between VA and community providers and schedule appointments.
• Maintain appointment schedules for one or more clinics using VA systems.
• Protect patient privacy and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Meet daily productivity targets and key performance indicators.
