Advocate Health is seeking a remote Educational Lead for Coding Education & Enablement. You will design, deliver, and manage coding education programs for coders and clinicians across our national footprint, collaborating with Coding Leadership, IT, and Revenue Cycle teams.

The role emphasizes adult learning principles and flexible delivery methods. With 5+ years in medical coding and AHIMA or AAPC certifications, you will develop curriculum, schedule trainings, and measure outcomes to enhance

Qualifications

5+ years of medical coding experience incl. physician revenue cycle processes.
Certification required from AHIMA (CCA, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-I) or equivalent.
Experience designing and delivering coding education to coders and clinicians.

Responsibilities

Lead coding education programs in collaboration with Coding Leadership and IT.
Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training for coders and clinicians.
Identify educational needs, track progress, and adjust programs accordingly.
Schedule and manage education offerings using Learning Connection, ATMS, Skype or Teams.
Create and maintain web-based coding education resources and manuals.
