Qualifications

• 5 years of medical coding experience including physician revenue cycle workflows.
• AHIMA or AAPC certification preferred or required as listed.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding education for initial training and continuing ed for coders and clinicians.
• Develops educational materials, tools and documents for education programs.
• Identifies training needs and coordinates with leadership to address gaps.
• Schedules and delivers trainings using in-person, virtual, and desk-side methods.
• Creates web-based coding education programs and tracks progress.
• Delivers train-the-trainer sessions for coding staff and leads updates as needed.
