Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to deliver and develop coding education across the organization, including PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. You will design courses, create learning materials, and lead both in-person and virtual sessions for coders and clinicians.

The role requires recent coding experience, AHIMA/AAPC certifications, and the ability to work remotely with a flexible schedule while supporting a nationwide program.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience.
• Specialty coding experience across multiple specialties is preferred.
• Must be able to develop and present coding education to coders and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding education for initial training and continuing education.
• Develops and maintains education programs and materials.
• Schedules and delivers in-person or virtual trainings.
• Tracks progress and adjusts courses based on learner needs.
• Ensures learning objectives are defined for each program.
