Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. You will deliver coding education to coders and clinicians, and develop training materials and tools, coordinating sessions across the organization.

Demand includes recent coding experience, AHIMA/AAPC credentials, and deep knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. Full-time, remote with flexible scheduling and opportunities to enhance education programs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of coding experience including physician revenue cycle.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Experience in adult learning and training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding education to coders and clinicians, in-person and virtual.
• Develops educational presentations, tools and documents.
• Schedules and coordinates training across the organization.
• Keeps current with adult learning concepts and applies them to training.
