Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced coding educator to lead education and training for PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. The role supports remote learning, creates curricula, and delivers ongoing professional development for coders and clinicians.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of medical coding experience, multiple AHIMA/AAPC certifications, and strong expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS. This position offers full-time remote work with flexible scheduling and organizational impact

Qualifications

• 5 years of medical coding experience including physician revenue cycle processes.
• Experience in adult learning and training delivery.
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Ability to develop and deliver coding education programs.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding education to coders and clinicians, in person or virtually.
• Develops educational materials, tools and presentations.
• Identifies coding education needs and coordinates training sessions.
• Schedules, tracks progress and evaluates education programs.
• Collaborates with leadership to enhance educational offerings.
