Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a remote Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. The role involves delivering coding education to coders and clinicians, developing educational tools, and coordinating training programs across the Revenue Cycle. Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in medical coding including physician revenue cycle processes.
• Specialty coding experience in surgical, anesthesia, and other physician specialties.
• Coding certifications (AHIMA or AAPC) required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT, Org development, Revenue Cycle leadership and Compliance leadership.
• Present coding education to coders and clinicians in-person or virtually for training and continuing education.
• Identify coder educational needs and develop programs; provide one-on-one, follow-up and refresher sessions.
