Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams in a fully remote role. You will deliver training to coders and clinicians, develop educational materials and coordinate programs across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of medical coding experience, specialty coding background, and AHIMA or AAPC certifications. This role emphasizes adult learning, presentation skills, and collaboration with leadership to advance coding education.

Qualifications

• 5 years of medical coding experience including physician revenue cycle
• Experience in physician coding workflows and coding integrity
• Specialty coding experience in listed areas

Responsibilities

• Deliver coding education to coders and clinicians via in-person and virtual sessions
• Develop and update education materials, tools and documents
• Identify coding education needs and coordinate with leadership to provide targeted training
• Schedule education programs using LMS/ATMS/Teams and communicate offerings
• Create web-based coding education programs and track progress
• Provide train-the-trainer sessions for educators
