Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. This full-time, remote role reports to the Revenue Cycle Education & Enablement department and focuses on developing and delivering coding training for coders and clinicians.

Responsibilities include creating education programs, conducting in-person and virtual sessions, identifying training needs, and maintaining learning schedules.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience in listed domains.
• 5 years of experience in physician revenue cycle processes.
• AHIMA or AAPC certification required as listed.
• Remote work eligible for select states in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT, Org development, Revenue Cycle, Compliance leadership, etc.
• Present coding education to coders and clinicians through in-person and virtual trainings.
• Identify educational needs and develop and provide training sessions.
• Schedule and manage education offerings using Learning Connection, ATMS, Skype or Teams.
• Develop and maintain web-based coding education programs and track progress.
• Create educator materials and conduct train-the-trainer sessions for instructors.
