Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring an Educator/Trainer to support the PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. This full-time remote role focuses on developing and delivering professional coding education across specialties, coordinating with leadership, and maintaining effective training programs for coders and clinicians.

The educator will leverage adult learning concepts, create engaging presentations, and continually adapt courses to evolving guidelines in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning concepts and ability to plan, coordinate and facilitate coding education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership and IT leadership.
• Present coding education for initial training and continuing education to coders and clinicians.
• Identify coding education needs and develop programs including one-on-one and refresher sessions.
• Develop and maintain web-based coding education programs and track progress.
