Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. This fully remote, full-time role involves delivering education, maintaining schedules, and developing training materials across Coding Education programs.

You will collaborate with leadership to identify needs, design content, and provide ongoing education to coders and clinicians, ensuring up-to-date practices and compliance.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning concepts and training methods.
• Experience delivering coding education to coders and clinicians.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver coding education programs, including in-person and virtual trainings.
• Identify coder educational needs and tailor sessions accordingly.
• Schedule and manage educational offerings across the organization.
• Create learner materials, manuals and facilitator guides.
• Provide train-the-trainer sessions for coding supervisors and leads.
