Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer specializing in PB Coding and Coding Integrity to deliver initial training and ongoing education for coders and clinicians.

You will present education programs, develop online and in-person sessions, and partner with Coding Leadership and IT to align curricula with evolving revenue cycle needs. Remote-friendly role with full-time hours and a flexible schedule, supporting multiple states.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding experience preferred for physician rev cycle.
• Specialty coding experience in surgical, anesthesia, and other areas preferred.
• Advanced training beyond high school in Medical Coding.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding and documentation education for coders and clinicians.
• Develops online and in-person training materials and presentations.
• Schedules and delivers education programs organization-wide.
• Identifies coder educational needs and coordinates refresher sessions.
• Maintains learning objectives and evaluates program effectiveness.
• Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for new educators.
