The Wood Agency Life is seeking a motivated life insurance salesperson to work remotely as an independent contractor (1099). You'll connect with families who requested information, conduct long conversations, and guide them from the first call to a completed application.

This role emphasizes relationship-building, thorough follow-up, and live online quoting with a CRM. You’ll collaborate with a small agency team, access exclusive leads, and earn commissions based on your production.

Qualifications

• Experience selling by phone in inside sales or telesales.
• Comfortable with long conversations about serious topics.
• Strong follow-up discipline without prompts.
• State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale.
• Experience with web-based quoting tools and a CRM.
• Eligible to work in the United States (18+).

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule longer conversations.
• Open with questions rather than a pitch and let families talk.
• Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the appointment.
• Keep several cases moving and log calls and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Use team call reviews to improve your approach over time.
