Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will contact families who requested coverage, guide them through options by phone or video, and complete applications within the same appointment.

You will manage multiple open cases, log every call in the CRM, and participate in team reviews to improve your approach. Licensing is required or planned before your first sale.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain state life insurance license before selling
• Experience selling by phone / inside sales
• Comfortable with long conversations about serious topics
• 18+ and authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule a longer conversation
• Open with questions instead of a pitch, so the family talks more
• Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the same appointment
• Log every call and follow-up task in the CRM as it happens
• Keep several open cases moving without losing track of any of them
• Use team call reviews to sharpen your approach over time
