Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote life insurance sales professional to join as an independent contractor (1099). You will connect with families who requested coverage, guiding them from first contact through the completed application.

This is a 100% remote role with no base salary; earnings depend on production. You’ll use web quoting tools and a CRM, maintain ongoing conversations, and collaborate with mentors to improve your approach.

Qualifications

• Experience selling by phone in inside sales or call center.
• Comfortable with long conversations about serious topics.
• Must have or plan to obtain state life license.
• Proficient with web-based quoting tools and CRM.
• Authorized to work in the United States (18+).

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule a longer conversation
• Open with questions instead of a pitch, so the family does most of the talking
• Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the same appointment
• Keep several open cases moving without losing track of them
• Log every call and follow-up task in the CRM as it happens
• Use team call reviews to sharpen your approach over time
