Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an independent contractor to sell life insurance by phone from a remote setting. You will connect with families who requested information, guide them through options, and complete applications during the call.

Earnings are commission-based and tied to performance, with mentorship and exclusive leads to help you close cases. You must be licensed or plan to become licensed and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience selling by phone in inside sales or call center
• Comfortable with long conversations about serious topics
• State life insurance license or plan to get licensed before first sale
• CRM proficiency and web-based quoting tools
• Authorized to work in the United States (18+)

Responsibilities

• Make first contact with people who asked about coverage and schedule a longer conversation
• Open with questions instead of a pitch, so the family does most of the talking
• Present options by phone or video and complete the application in the same appointment
• Log every call and follow-up task in the CRM as it happens
• Use team call reviews to sharpen your approach over time
