Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer to serve as servant leader for a complex Agile Release Train, guiding SAFe practices and program execution across multiple teams.

You will coach Scrum Masters and Product Owners, partner with product and technology stakeholders to align strategy with delivery, and remove impediments to ensure value delivery. This remote role requires strong facilitation, influential leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement, with travel to Humana

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of related experience in Agile leadership roles.
• Extensive SAFe Release Train experience.
• Current SAFe RTE, SPC, or comparable certification.
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean-Agile principles.
• Experience leading large programs and value streams.
• Influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ART events and SAFe ceremonies.
• Coach Scrum Masters and Product Owners across teams.
• Identify and resolve program dependencies, risks, and impediments.
• Drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to align strategy with execution.
• Monitor ART performance using agile metrics and dashboards.
• Support value streams and agile delivery practices across the organization.
• Foster Communities of Practice and engineering excellence.
