Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer to serve as the servant leader for a complex Agile Release Train. You will facilitate SAFe ceremonies, coach teams, and collaborate with product and business leaders to align strategy with execution.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, effective use of Agile metrics, and driving delivery excellence while supporting value streams and enterprise transformation. Remote-friendly with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
7+ years of related experience in Scrum Master/Agile Coach/Release Train Engineer or similar leadership role for large-scale programs.
Extensive experience leading Agile Release Trains within SAFe environments.
Current SAFe RTE/SPC or comparable SAFe certification.
Advanced knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean-Agile).
Experience influencing senior leaders and coordinating with product teams and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary facilitator and servant leader for a complex Agile Release Train (ART).
Lead and facilitate ART events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops.
Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to align strategy with execution.
Identify and manage program-level dependencies, risks, and impediments.
Drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt initiatives.
