Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer to serve as the servant leader for a complex Agile Release Train, coordinating multiple Scrum teams to deliver business value through SAFe. The role emphasizes facilitation, coaching, and continuous improvement across programs.

The candidate will drive alignment with business and technology leadership, use Agile metrics to optimize delivery, and mentor teams and stakeholders at all levels. Remote flexibility with travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, CS, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of related experience in Agile leadership roles.
• Extensive SAFe experience leading Agile Release Trains.
• Current SAFe RTE or SPC certification or comparable.
• Strong facilitation, communication, coaching, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary facilitator and servant leader for a complex ART.
• Lead and facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos.
• Coach and influence Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders.
• Partner with Product Management and other stakeholders to align strategy and execution.
• Identify dependencies and impediments affecting value flow.
• Drive continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops.
• Promote collaboration across architects, engineering, and business.
• Use Agile metrics and dashboards to monitor ART performance.
• Support value streams and Agile delivery maturity.
