Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer to guide a complex Agile Release Train, coaching multiple Scrum teams in SAFe practices and driving value delivery.

You will lead PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt workshops while partnering with Product Management to align strategy with execution. Remote work with occasional travel is required. This role demands strong facilitation and stakeholder influence to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• 7+ years related experience including 5+ years in Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Release Train Engineer or similar Agile leadership role.
• Extensive experience leading Agile Release Trains within SAFe environment.
• Current SAFe RTE, SPC, or comparable certification.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean-Agile).
• Experience influencing senior leaders, cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary facilitator and servant leader for a complex ART and ensure successful SAFe adoption.
• Facilitate ART events: PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, Inspect and Adapt.
• Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders on Lean-Agile practices.
• Partner with Product Management and other stakeholders to align objectives with execution.
• Identify and resolve program-level dependencies, risks, and impediments.
• Drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt and improvement initiatives.
• Promote collaboration across architects, engineering, and business teams.
• Utilize Agile metrics and dashboards to monitor ART performance.
