Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer to serve as a servant leader for a complex Agile Release Train, coaching teams and aligning strategy with execution. You will facilitate PI Planning, manage impediments, and drive continuous improvement across value streams with senior stakeholder collaboration.

The role requires SAFe RTE/SPC certification, extensive SAFe experience, and strong facilitation and leadership skills. Remote work with occasional travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience including 5+ years in Agile leadership roles.
• Experience leading SAFe Release Trains in complex programs.
• Current SAFe RTE/SPC or comparable certification.
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile principles.
• Proven success coordinating large programs and value streams.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong facilitation, communications, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary facilitator and servant leader for a complex ART.
• Lead and facilitate ART events including PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
• Prepare PI Planning readiness with backlog refinement and roadmaps.
• Coach and mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners and leaders.
• Align product strategy with execution across stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve program-level risks and dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement through Inspect and Adapt.
• Promote collaboration across architects, engineering and business teams.
• Use Agile metrics and program health indicators to drive outcomes.
• Support value streams maturation and Agile delivery practices.
