Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Lead Release Train Engineer to act as servant leader and coach for a complex Agile Release Train. You will facilitate SAFe ceremonies, mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners, and partner with business and technology leaders to align strategic objectives with execution.

The role emphasizes driving value delivery, leveraging Agile metrics and program health indicators, and improving delivery efficiency across multiple teams in a remote-work setting with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, CS, or equivalent combination.
7+ years in related roles; 5+ years as Scrum Master/AGile Coach/RTE for large-scale initiatives.
Extensive experience leading Agile Release Trains within SAFe.
Current SAFe RTE/SPC or comparable certification.
Advanced knowledge of Agile delivery incl. Scrum, Kanban, Lean-Agile.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary facilitator and servant leader for a complex ART.
Lead and facilitate Program Increments, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and SAFe ceremonies.
Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders on Lean-Agile practices.
Partner with Product Management and other stakeholders to align strategy and execution.
Identify and resolve program-level dependencies, risks, and impediments.
Drive continuous improvement through Inspect and Adapt and improvement initiatives.
