Job summary

Vynca Inc. is seeking an Intake Coordinator to help organize and enroll patients in our programs.

The role supports ECM Sales/Marketing and Clinical Outreach teams and builds positive relationships with patients and families while reviewing medical charts. This 1099 contract position offers remote work across select states, with usual hours Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm Pacific Time, and potential conversion to full-time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of intake/admission experience in a high call volume environment.
• CMA/CCMA certificate issued by a recognized group.
• Remote work requires a quiet, secure workspace to ensure member privacy.
• 2+ years in palliative care, home health, hospice, or discharge planning preferred.
• Experience with large safety net hospitals in the region preferred.
• Must be available Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Pacific Time; occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates intake, admission, and assists with outreach for incoming patients.
• Provides ongoing assessment of patient status in admission.
• Maintains databases, logs, and census sheets; updates resources and lists.
• Completes insurance eligibility checks and assigns clients to the Clinical Outreach Specialist.
• Works cross-functionally with sales, outreach, care delivery and RCM to support enrollment workflow.
• Maintains documentation of enrollment interactions in the operating system.
• Participates in staff and census meetings; weekly outreach meetings.
• Aims to meet or exceed department KPIs and supports organizational needs.
