Job summary

Vynca Inc. is seeking an Intake Coordinator to support ECM Sales/Marketing and Clinical Outreach Specialists by organizing and enrolling patients in our programs. The role focuses on building positive relationships with teams and families, with potential outreach to educate and enroll clients.

The position is a 1099 contract assignment, with potential for full-time conversion. Prior healthcare intake experience and a quiet home workspace are essential, and candidate eligibility is limited to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of intake or admission experience in a high call volume environment.
• CMA/CCMA certificate issued by a recognized group.
• Prior experience in a remote role with a quiet, secure workspace for privacy.
• 2+ years of experience in palliative care, home health, hospice, or discharge planning.
• 2+ years of experience with large safety net hospitals in the region (preferred).
• Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm Pacific Time, with potential evenings/weekends.
• Strong cultural competency with the target population.
• Medical or business office education or training desired.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• General computer skills; proficient with Google Suite and Salesforce.
• Training with social workers, nurses, or allied roles is a plus.
• Project development skills and ability to work independently.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates intake, admission, and outreach to enroll incoming patients.
• Provides ongoing assessment of patient status during admission.
• Maintains databases, logs, census sheets, and resource lists; updates department information sheets.
• Performs insurance eligibility checks and assigns clients to the Clinical Outreach Specialist.
• Collaborates with sales, outreach, care delivery, and RCM to streamline enrollment workflow.
• Maintains enrollment documentation and records interactions in the operating system.
• Participates in staff, census, and other meetings; weekly outreach team meetings.
• Strives to meet or exceed departmental KPIs; supports organizational needs.
