Job summary

Vynca Inc. is seeking an Intake Coordinator to join our remote, contract-based team. The role supports ECM Sales/Marketing and Clinical Outreach Specialists by organizing and enrolling patients in programs and educating potential clients about offerings.

The ideal candidate has healthcare intake experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce. This role is 1099 with potential conversion to full-time, and is limited to specified states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of intake/admission experience in a high call volume environment.
• CMA/CCMA certificate issued by a recognized group.
• Prior experience in a remote role with a quiet, secure workspace to protect member privacy.
• 2+ years in palliative care, home health, hospice, or discharge planning.
• 2+ years of experience with large safety net hospitals in the region, preferred.
• Willing to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Pacific Time; evenings/weekends possible.
• Strong cultural competency with the target population.
• Training in or alongside social workers, nurses, medical assistants, chaplains, scribes, or related clinical language experience.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates intake, admission, and outreach for incoming patients.
• Maintains databases, logs, census sheets, and resource lists; updates schedules.
• Performs insurance eligibility checks and assigns clients to the Clinical Outreach Specialist.
• Collaborates across sales, outreach, care delivery, and RCM to enable enrollment workflow.
• Maintains enrollment documentation by recording interactions in the operating system.
• Attends staff, census, and weekly Outreach Team meetings; aims to meet KPIs.
• Answers incoming calls and emails; supports enrollment process.
