Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Designer II to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended or performance support training solutions for Ryder's employees.

This remote role requires collaboration with subject matter experts and business owners to create instructionally sound objectives and engaging training. You will stay current with adult learning principles, use Storyline or similar tools, manage multiple projects, and deliver under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field or minimum 8 years equivalent work experience in designing and developing e-learning, ILT, blended or performance support materials.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years in Education or business environment.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions with e-learning materials; Experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of at least one authoring/development tool such as Storyline is required.
• Knowledge of working closely with clients and SMEs to develop training strategies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

• Ensures solutions align with objectives and outcomes; stays updated on learning trends and best practices.
