Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Designer II for remote work in Lansing, MI to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance support training solutions for Ryder employees.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to craft effective objectives, content, and evaluation strategies, applying adult learning principles and using Storyline and Articulate 360 to deliver compliant, timely training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years in education or business environments.
• Three years with designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions and e-learning materials; Experience with Articulate 360 and related tools.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Storyline and other authoring tools; ability to work with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing for major training initiatives, aligned with Ryder's goals and competencies.
• Consults with subject matter experts to develop objectives and learning strategies; manages scope and timelines.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures solutions match objectives and outcomes; communicates creative ideas to gain consensus.
• Keeps abreast of emerging trends in learning methods and adult learning best practices.
• Collaborates with team members on projects and performs other duties as assigned.
