Job summary

IPA - Innovative Product Achievements seeks an Implementation Engineer to be the hands-on face of IPA at customer sites, delivering scrub and linen automation from delivery to go-live.

This remote, full-time role requires traveling to hospitals nationwide, installing, training, and resolving hardware/software issues, with opportunities to grow into Implementation Engineer II while working with Project Management, Sales, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Willingness to travel at least 80% and work independently from a home office.
• Strong customer-service mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver's license and hospital site immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Installations onsite: uncrating, transporting, positioning equipment, and connecting power/data.
• Train clients on software and procedures to enable post-go-live success.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking issues during implementations and escalated service calls.
• Maintain proficiency with wiring, hand tools, and test equipment.
• Support system administration tasks and Linux basics.
