Job summary

IPA seeks an Implementation Engineer to be the hands-on face of IPA at customer sites, delivering scrub and linen automation from delivery through go-live. You will own the full onsite implementation, uncrating and positioning equipment, installing, networking, and training clients to ensure long-term success.

You’ll travel to hospitals nationwide, troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking in real time, serving as a trusted technical resource for customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Candidate should enjoy solving complex and simple issues with enthusiasm.
• Service-oriented mindset, capable of working with wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and networking troubleshooting; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Travel onsite to installations, uncrating, positioning, wiring, and powering systems.
• Represent IPA onsite and orient end users to new equipment and processes.
• Train clients on software and basic troubleshooting for post-go-live success.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, and networking during deployments and escalations.
• Maintain proficiency with wiring, tools, and test equipment like meters and scopes.
• Support system administration tasks including Linux basics and Clearview setup.
• Conduct preventative maintenance with focus on long-term health of client programs.
• Communicate progress daily and document cases in Salesforce; manage travel spend.
