Vail Health is seeking an experienced scheduling clerk to manage outpatient Imaging and Cardiopulmonary procedures. You will verify demographics, insurance, and orders to ensure accurate scheduling and Pre-Registration for all appointments.

Responsibilities include answering calls, recording messages, coordinating with clinic staff, and providing clear prep instructions and directions to patients. You will also support ongoing scheduling coverage and uphold professional, respectful communication

Qualifikationen

• Previous admitting or clerical experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Must possess basic computer and typing skills to complete online learning and benefits enrollment.

Aufgaben

• Schedule outpatient imaging and cardiopulmonary procedures accurately and timely.
• Answer incoming calls and take complete messages.
• Update demographic and insurance information to ensure accurate scheduling.
• Create Pre-Registration accounts for scheduled appointments.
• Document contact attempts and coordinate communication with staff and providers.
• Provide patients with preparation instructions and directions.
• Coordinate with other staff when out of the office to maintain scheduling activity.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional communication.
