Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous admitting or clerical experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurate scheduling of outpatient imaging and cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Handle incoming phone calls, take complete messages.
• Verify orders, demographics, and insurance information to ensure accuracy.
• Create complete Pre-Registration accounts for scheduled appointments.
• Document contact attempts and schedule follow-ups with patients.
• Provide patients with preparation instructions and directions.
• Coordinate with staff during absences to maintain scheduling continuity.
• Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and HIPAA compliance.
• Uphold Just Culture and organizational values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
