Job summary

Vail Health seeks an admissions clerk to support outpatient imaging and cardiopulmonary testing by verifying demographics, insurance details, and creating Pre-Registration encounters for all scheduled procedures. You will answer calls, take messages, and coordinate with staff to maintain smooth scheduling.

Prior admitting or clerical experience is preferred, and a working knowledge of medical terminology is helpful. Strong English communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure demographics and insurance information are up to date; verify orders support medical necessity.

• Demonstrate excellent communication and phone etiquette; prior admitting or clerical experience preferred.
• Possess working knowledge of medical terminology.
